Accessible Children's Shows
An initiative that was founded in 2021 that aims to create a designated performance repertoire for children on the autistic spectrum and children with different neurological disorders. The projects that were created by Neta Pulvermacher, Rosie Canaan, Inbal Aloni, and Rachel Erdos provide a glimpse into the world of movement, performance, song, play, and video, and received professional guidance from Adi Navon, an expert in the field of autism. Through advance preparation with physical aids and adapted space & content, hundreds of girls and boys from preschool age to adults watched the shows this past year. The project is supported by the Jerusalem Municipality and the Lottery Council for Art & Culture.
Segments from “Etay’s Castle,” by Rachel Erdos, and “Small World,” by Inbal Aloni & Rosie Canaan will be performed during the showcase in the morning on Thursday, December 8th.

2280 Pints! is an hour-long, bucket-filled adventure for all ages that was created in celebration of choreographer Neta Pulvermacher’s 25 years of creating dances in the United States. Known for “finding the extraordinary within the ordinary” (Backstage, 2009), Pulvermacher has long engaged audiences in unexpected ways through her choreography and programmatic initiatives.
In this latest work, that has been seen in Israel, her cast of 15 dancers inhabits a whimsical playing field of 57 white, 5-gallon buckets, immersing themselves in an exploration of joy and imagination.
2280 Pints! is a fantastic show that is suitable for ages 3 and above.
Small World

Small World by Inbal Aloni and Rosie Canaan Dance performance for children that includes video. The work explored the range of movement that could take place in the confines of one’s home.
'Small World' reveals how typical actions performed within the house have the ability to move between the literal and the figurative. The desire is to broaden awareness and refresh the perspective we have on our very familiar home spaces and to transform the home into a playground.
The piece aims to raise curiosity in the things that we experience most of the day on auto-drive.

Etai’s Castle

Etai’s Castle by Rachel Erdos A child’s room is the center of their universe… Etai’s Castle invites the audience to come meet Etai in his room.
Together with a new friend Amit, the audience will discover a whole world within the four walls of Etai’s room. Inside a castle made of colorful lights, the characters explore their idea of a room, home and family, exchanging stories about who lives in their house, the food they eat, and their fantasies. Using movement, song, text and humor, the performers bring the notion of home to life.
Accompanied by a soundtrack composed of songs by Arik Einstein, the piece creates a bridge between fantasy and reality, a path children are experts at walking.
